SCUBA – Self-Directed Community-directed Unveiling of Biblical Assets – is not simply a Bible Study but rather an opportunity to learn “How to” study the Bible. In our SCUBA we examine a portion of Scripture and collectively walk through 4 main stages of learning how to study the Bible:

  1. Prayer: Pray for revelation and relevance, believing that the Holy Spirit guides us in the understanding and application of scripture.
  2. Observation: What does it say?
  3. Interpretation: What does it mean?
  4. Application: How does the meaning apply to me?

We dive from 7:30 – 8:30 pm on Wednesday evenings at the Freeman Center (Swift Avenue off of HW 147). Kids are welcome to come and either participate or if they can use the library facilities to read, complete homework, or other academic related issues. Be sure to check the calendar for location changes.
