Welcome to CAYA Fellowship

At CAYA Fellowship, we strive to create a welcoming and nurturing environment for all. Located in Forsyth, Missouri, our church offers a place of worship, community, and spiritual growth.

I'd Like to Tell you A Little About Our Church

We are a small church, but we are strong and rich. We are not wealthy by worldly standards, but in our relationship with Jesus, we're truly wealthy. Money can't buy that. We do not judge, as we focus on the lost, the broken, and the addict battling addiction, while building God's Kingdom. We may be a little dysfunctional, but in a good way. We are blessed to have a pastor and his wife who get excited about telling us about Jesus. We are a family, not just members or a congregation. So if you are looking for a small church, look no further. Come where God meets you where you are and have a relationship with Jesus.

Sunday Morning Preaching Service

A Church Focused on Growing the Kingdom

Join us this Sunday morning at 11:00 am for a service designed to encourage, challenge, and strengthen your faith. Pastor Joe Inman delivers messages that are not only inspiring but also meet you right where you are in your life.

Our music ministry lifts us up in worship and prepares our hearts for the powerful message that follows. At our core, we are a church that is more focused on growing the Kingdom of God than simply growing our own walls. We believe in reaching out to the lost and the broken, and in building a community that is a true reflection of God's love.

Sunday Night Topical Studies

Join Us Sunday for "The Parables of Jesus"

Are you looking for a place to grow in your faith and understanding of the Bible? We invite you to join us at CAYA Fellowship for our new Sunday night series, "The Parables of Jesus."

The parables of Jesus are short, powerful stories that use everyday life to reveal profound spiritual truths. They are a cornerstone of His teaching and offer timeless wisdom for our lives today.

Come as you are and discover the heavenly meaning behind these earthly stories.

Wednesday Night Study Through the Books

Join Our Midweek Bible Study

Dive into the New Testament with us as we go verse-by-verse, exploring the profound truths and practical applications of God's Word. This is an opportunity to not only read the Bible but to truly understand it in its proper context.

The format is simple: we'll read a passage, and then open it up for a Q&A time. This is your chance to ask questions, share insights, and engage in meaningful fellowship with others who are passionate about growing in their faith.

Don't miss this chance to deepen your understanding and strengthen your walk with Christ. Come ready to learn and to be encouraged!

Breaking Free from the Scorecard Mentality

Have you ever found yourself keeping score when it comes to forgiveness, thinking, "I'll forgive them this time, but if they do it again..."? This natural human tendency to put limits on grace reveals a spiritual struggle that can hinder our relationship with God and limit His power in our lives.

Caya Recovery :
Will You Accept a Christmas Miracle?

By Bradley Sansoucie

December has been a notoriously hard month for alcoholics and addicts alike. During our addiction, many of us have lost so much, stolen from us, or traded for a moment of numbness and escape with hopes that our sickness would be fed for just another day. We traded precious moments with family and friends, because we suffered from a problem that is not fully understood by most people, but God understands.

Editorial Opinion

As 2025 comes to a close and 2026 draws near, many of us will make new years resolutions. I’ve never been one for this sort of thing, but in the 23/24 season I did.

First Lady's Funnies

Selected by Stada Inman

Album of the Month

By Intern Brando

Atomic Arena was the second Studio album released by Christian Metal Band Barren Cross. Released in 1988 and published by Enigma Records, this album had a lot going for it. Consisting of 10 tracks produced with the help of the Elefante brothers from Kansas and tackling social issues that the world still deals with today such as the evils of abortion, suicide, temptations of the world and the false doctrine of cults all while using Christ’s Love as the answer to these problems. One of my biggest issues with the Christian music Industry is when they never bring up Jesus’s name or address God in their music but Barren Cross Delivers in this album. I think that every track in this album is solid but the ones I like most would be in no particular order “Living Dead”, "In the eye of the Fire” and "Close to the Edge”. Overall a very Solid Album and would very much recommend giving a listen but what is your favorite track? Let me Know on The KMTM Lunchbox Block!

A New Experience

by Joel Shell

Back in November, I had the chance to do something I’ve never done. I was able to fly in an airplane. This was an exciting and wonderful experience. I felt a sense of freedom and exhilaration when I was flying in the air at a high rate of speed.

You may ask, what is the significance of this? When I listen to music, I get the same feeling. Music is like flying for me. When I listen to artists we play at MTM Broadcasting, I feel a rush of excitement. I can hear the passion and excitement of, for example, Resurrection Band when they’re singing songs like Where Roses Grow or Rain Dance. I can also hear the passion in Mac Powell’s voice when he sings Third Day songs, such as I’ve Always Loved You, Blackbird, or Your Love, O Lord.

This leads me to a question. What will it be like when we’re in Heaven praising and worshipping our Heavenly Father? I believe I’ll have the same feeling of excitement, perhaps even more so when I’m in front of Him. It will be great to see Him face to face, just to worship Him in all His majesty and glory.

A Cup of Joe

With Cup of Joe and Greg Marlow

Finally, after a year of emails, text messages, Facebook Messenger, and phone interviews, I was going to meet another great Outlaw Country artist, Greg Marlow.

I first heard of Greg when I found some of his music on social media. I watched the video for "2nd Chances" over a year ago when we started the radio station KTFR. I contacted Greg, and our relationship began.

This morning, as I drove to one of my favorite Ma & Pa restaurants to meet with Greg, I already had an image of him from his videos: long gray hair, overalls, and a ballcap. Well, I had the hair and ballcap correct and was a little bit in shock that he was wearing blue jeans! This is why we never look at the outside of someone, and I was about to get to experience what was in the man. I am so glad I was able to have a Cup of Joe with Greg Marlow.

If you have not heard of this guy, Greg Marlow, you need to tune into KTFR to listen, and ROKU on CAYA-MTM to watch his videos. I'm going to part with something Greg shared with me (and this is not a direct quote): A friend of Greg's had passed away, and he listened to Greg's song "2nd Chances" every night before he died. Greg will be singing that song at this man's funeral. Singing in the circle at the Grand Ole Opry was a huge honor for Greg, explained to me, and I can understand that—I had the honor to stand there as well. But Greg continued, "it is nothing like the honor of singing his song. '2nd Chances' at his friend's funeral, because his friend got the message."

Greg and I sat at that restaurant for nearly two hours, having breakfast, drinking coffee, and laughing. Greg, who is an amazing Outlaw artist, started out in Bluegrass. I promise not to hold that against him, since he has some of his classic Bluegrass being converted to the Outlaw sound—I hope in the near future!

If there is one thing I found out this morning, it is the heart of this Outlaw. Greg's song "2nd Chances" is a testimony song. I don’t have the space to put everything, but I will say that as we sat there and Greg shared his heart, I knew I was in the presence of someone who had one goal in life, and that is to hear Jesus say: "Well done, good and faithful Servant.” Greg has a heart to share the gospel and use the talents that God has placed in him, allowing those that God has put in his path, such as the original Godfather of Outlaw Gospel, Cody McCarver, to guide him. Greg gave a lot of credit to Cody on how he had directed him and been upfront in Greg's music and videos, providing great support and help. Don’t we all need a guy like that in our corner?

Greg had to get back to West Plains, but wanted me to hear a song or two that he had talked about, and of course, the DJ in me loves to hear the song before it is finalized or released. It makes the story behind the song even better when you get to hear the story in progress. I jumped in this Outlaw's traveling Jukebox and enjoyed the music and the stories, especially Greg's Godly passion talking about the upcoming songs and videos.

History of The Name

By Mark Aldred

I have had many ask,”Why the name ‘Rockin for the Rock?” Around 1980, I was introduced to faith based rock ‘n’ roll at a bible study. I heard the Resurrection Band Colours album & Jerusalem’s Warrior album and thought,”I didn’t know Christians could rock.” In Springfield, Missouri KWFC 89.1 FM played Southern Gospel and would not play anything else. Anything other than Southern Gospel Music was SIN. KLFJ 1550 AM did play some contemporary Christian music, but not much. If they played a little Christian Rock, like Petra’s Stand Up, religious people would complain and pull their sponsorship in protest. It didn’t matter how bold and filled with faith based lyrics the music was.  To me it was stupid that they wouldn’t play this style of music.

I went to Masterpiece Book & Record Store and bought 20 demo albums for $2.00 each. YES, I judged the groups by the look of the album covers. If it looked like they rocked I bought it. Then I found CCM Magazine and had friends from Church who attended CBC & Evangel colleges who told me about other CCM groups that did get some air time in their cities. My big question was why don't these 2 stations in Springfield play it?

Back when I cruised Kearney street or worked in an arcade I started to make mix tapes. If someone liked AC/DC, I played X-Sinner and other groups of the same style of faith based Rock.  On the PTL Network, they showed Christian rock concerts at Six Flags in Texas sponsored by different Baptist churches. I wondered why the Baptists in Springfield wouldn’t play these groups? I asked a guy I worked with that attended Baptist Bible College why?  He just told me there were different types of Baptist , Southern, Fundamental, Freewill etc.  Each believes a little differently. Musically his church doesn't believe in anything but Southern Gospel. Even though we did believe a lot in the same things, he said I would not go to Heaven listening to faith based Rock ‘n’ Roll.

Fast forward to 1986, Bloodgood wanted to play as they passed through Springfield. The Regency Showcase, a bar on the square, invited them to play, all ages were welcome and no alcohol was served. After the concert I was talking to Les Carlsen, the lead vocalist. As we talked, I made the comment,” I’m Glad you all are Rockin For The Rock.” The name was born. After that I had a dream of being a DJ that would play faith based Rock’n’ Roll.

I Look Forward to my 2nd Season in 2026. Thank you to all that have supported my dream of ‘Rockin For The Rock’! Without you, there would be no dream. You all are as much a part of the station as I am, and we are Rockin Together!

God is the Author of Love

By Author Erin Mifflin-Shell

It’s the day after Christmas and —bam!— ready or not, Valentine’s Day takes over all the stores. Christmas trees and white lights are still up at home, but in the store all is red, pink, hearts, and chalky candy.

I don’t know about you, but sometimes Valentine’s Day makes me roll my eyes. There’s just a lot of pressure to get the right card and gift for your love, and heaven forbid you are actually single on Valentine’s Day! I’ve spent a lot of unattached Valentine’s Days in my life, and often “celebrated” by babysitting for couples at church so they could go on a date.

There’s a truth that we shouldn’t forget in the commercialism. In I John 4:8b, the Bible states simply: “God is love.” It tells us that He loved us before we were even capable of knowing what love is (I John 4:19). When He created man, He said it was not good that man should be alone, and He gave Adam a wife: a helper, a companion, a lover.

Love absolutely should be celebrated, as it comes from God. When we love others, we glorify Him. This includes romantic love, which is the closest glimpse we have on earth to what our relationship will be like in Heaven with Jesus someday.

While the fuss and frills of February 14th might seem a little silly on its own, I love reading books that include a good romance. When I interviewed author Pepper Basham on The Well-Read Llama, we also talked about how reading a romance can bring hope to the reader. And when that romance also points to the Great Love of our souls, all the better.

You can find my interview with Pepper on my Author Erin Mifflin YouTube channel, and also tune in to MTM Broadcasting on Mondays when I talk with other Christian authors about their stories, many of which include romance. In the meantime, here are some reading recommendations for this season.

Authentically, Izzy by Pepper Basham. A bookish girl and Hobbit-loving guy meet online in a story told mostly through emails and text messages.

Love Overboard by Shannon Sue Dunlap. A group of retirees decide to live on a cruise ship, and take up matchmaking the guests and crew.

To Love A Beast by Karen Witemeyer. This novel takes the classic Beauty and the Beast story and sets in Texas in the 1880s, bringing a fun western twist.

Love In Tandem by Becca Kinzer. An outdoorsy guy and not-outdoorsy girl pose as a couple while on a 500-mile tandem bicycle ride for charity.

With Every Letter by Sarah Sundin. A WWII novel meets You’ve Got Mail, as a nurse and a soldier fall in love through writing anonymous letters to each other.

Of Love and Treason by Jamie Ogle. A fictional look at the real Valentine, set in Rome A.D. 270.
