Beyond the ordinary

Purpose of the class: This class is designed to give instruction and practical
experience to those who have decided to obey God in the matter of soulwinning. For those who don't know how to win a soul to Christ, this class will
give them both instruction and encouragement. For those who do know how to
win a soul to Christ, this class will give them a refresher course at the least, and
at the most, if they have not used this method before, it will give them another
weapon in their arsenal as they fight the war with Satan for the souls of men and
women, boys and girls.
Requirements of the class: To pass this class you must do four things.
1. You must meet the attendance requirements for this course.
2. You must participate in the class and do whatever is asked of you.
3. You must go soul-winning.
4. You must win a soul to Christ before the end of the quarter.

 Homework Assignment:
Create a “Romans Road Map” in your Bible!
Here’s how:

  1. Highlight each Romans Road verse.
  2. Next to each verse, write the reference to the next verse in the sequence.
  3. This way, you’ll always know where to go next when sharing the Gospel!
  4. Let’s grow in confidence and clarity as we learn to share our faith.

Week 2: July 17, 2025 

Lesson Overview:

This lesson focuses on the threefold preparation—spiritual, physical, and mental—required for effective soul winning. Drawing from 1 Thessalonians 5:23, students learn that man is composed of spirit, soul, and body, and each part must be ready for God’s use.

  • Spiritually, we prepare by staying close to God through prayer, Bible study, and church fellowship.
  • Physically, we maintain purity by avoiding sin—both in action and in neglect.
  • Mentally, we must believe in our calling, trust in God’s power, and overcome fear—especially the fear of the unknown.

The lesson introduces a practical soul-winning method designed to guide students step-by-step, helping them share the Gospel with confidence. Emphasis is placed on letting the Holy Spirit lead, keeping the conversation focused on salvation, and using questions to engage rather than preach.
